Two honest notes. The service call is applied toward the repair, so on a battery job it disappears into the price rather than sitting on top of it. And no calculator can load-test a pack or check a cable for salt corrosion. Every season we find carts on this coast where the owner had been quoted a full set of batteries and the actual fault was a charger, a charge port, or a salt-corroded main cable, which is why the tester comes out before the parts do. What each answer changes

Pack voltage and configuration is the biggest single swing. A 36V cart runs six 6-volt batteries and is the least expensive pack to replace. A 48V cart runs either six 8-volt or four 12-volt batteries, and those two price the same, so pick whichever matches your bay.
Battery grade is the second. A budget flooded set and a premium set like Trojan can be several hundred dollars apart on the same cart. Premium batteries genuinely last longer through a Gulf Coast summer, but only if they get watered and their terminals get kept clean.
Lithium is a different product, not an upgrade tier. It costs roughly a third again to double the lead-acid number up front and returns seven to ten years or more, no watering, about half the weight, sealed protection against the salt air that corrodes flooded terminals, and full power down to empty rather than sagging at the end of a run. For a rental-property cart booked most of the year, that math tends to favor lithium.

Salt air and how the cart is stored. A flooded pack parked outside near the Gulf or a bay corrodes at its terminals faster than the catalog assumes, and a corroded connection can mimic a dying pack even when the batteries themselves are fine. Whichever pack you buy, the habits decide how long it lasts: water every two to four weeks in summer with distilled water, keep the terminals clean and coated, charge after every use, and never leave a lead-acid pack sitting at partial charge for weeks between visits at a rental property or second home. Installation, cable and terminal inspection, watering, a charger output check, and haul-away of the old batteries are already in these numbers. The $50 to $100 service call is applied toward the work, so on a battery job it is not an extra line. Picking 36V drops the range by $200 because a six 6-volt set costs less than a 48V set. A lithium conversion is quoted with a lithium-compatible charger included.

Frequently Asked Questions

Where do these battery prices come from?

The table published on our pricing page: 36V six-battery lead-acid sets $1,200 to $1,600, 48V sets $1,400 to $1,800, and lithium conversions $1,600 to $2,200 for 50 to 60Ah and $2,500 to $3,800 for 100Ah and up. The calculator assembles the combination you pick.

How do I know whether my cart is 36V or 48V?

Open the battery bay and count. Six batteries with three cell caps each are 6-volt, so that is a 36V cart. Six batteries with four caps each are 8-volt, and four larger batteries with six caps each are 12-volt; both are 48V. If the caps are covered, send a photo of the bay with your quote.

Do I need an email address to see the result?

No. There is no gate, no signup, and no email. The range updates as you change the dropdowns, and sending it to the quote form is optional.

How close is this to what I will actually pay?

Close enough to budget with. Voltage and grade drive nearly all of the price and both are in the calculator. What it cannot see is a corroded cable run from salt air, a charger that is also failing, or the possibility that your pack is not finished yet, which is why the load test comes before the invoice.

Should I replace the whole pack or just the bad battery?

In a pack under about two years old, replacing the one failed battery is often right and we will say so. In an older pack the new battery gets pulled down to the level of its tired neighbours within months, so it rarely pays. Either way you see the test numbers before deciding.
